It is our goal at Xobor to constantly add functionality to the forums, raise the usability and create more possibilities for you to customize easily your forum just the way you like.
The sign up process
Upon registration for a free Forum you will immediately recieve a confirmation email with all the information needed to connect to your forum. You can get startet on customizing your forum, enter contents and invite your friend to join your forum.
A short guide through the Administration menu
Right after the initial sign up you will recieve an email with your login information. Use this information to log on to your forum via the "login" link. If you lose your login information or forget your password you can always request a new one.
Once logged on you will see a link called "Admin" in the navigation bar. If you click on it, it will open the administration menu where you can change all settings regarding your forum as well as customize the layout and design.
Here you can fundamentally change you forum. The following is just a short list of options available to you:
- View detailled statistics

- create topics and categories
- Forum > New Topic / New Category
- create and manage user groups
- Users > manage User Groups
- send newsletter to your members
- Users > Newsletter
- change layout
- Layout > Colors & Settings

Creating threads and posts
Now that you know how to customize your layout, it is time to add some content to your forum. To do this you will have to create basic categories first.
Within these categories you and your members can now create threads and posts.
Attach pictures to posts and create custom image galleries
With every post you create, you will have the opportunity to add one or more attachments like pictures, music or file archives. These files may then be downloaded by other users. You also have the option to save all uploaded pictures in a picture gallery, where you can easy manage all pictures and allow others to access the gallery. You have some pictures from your last holidays that you wish to share with your friends and family? No problem! You can decide who gets to see your pictures and who doesn't and even who may add comments to your pictures. You can easily arrange your pictures any way you want or even link them to a map. That way you can show others what your home garden looks like or how you spend your days on the trip to the Caribbean.
Create surveys
When creating a post, you can attach a survey to it. All you need is to define the question and possible answers and you are ready to go
As you can see to the left creating a survey is easy as pie - no programming skills are required.
If you are using a 
At xobor you may customize permissions for every user, user group, or even topic. That way you remain in total control of your forum - you decide who gets to be administrator, moderator or user. You decide whis user or user group gets to add/edit/remove contents. The same goes for the picture gallery - you decide who can see which pictures and which users may add comments to pictures.
You have lost or forgotten your password? Don't worry - you can always request a new one. Just use the "login" link on you forum and enter your username. Click afterwards on "lost password" and we will send you a new one to the e-mail address you registered with.
